So many questions, but I do have the answers.

For most of you, this will be the first time you've planned a wedding. Therefore you probably have lots of questions about the photography process. Hopefully I've managed to answer most, if not all, of your questions below and if not, just drop me an email at

How many images do we get?

Every wedding is different, but generally I'll deliver anything between 500 and 700 professionally edited images.

Can we print the images?

Yes. When I give you your images they're yours to keep. You can use them however you like as long as it's for personal use. You're free to print them as often as you like.

What if my suppliers ask me for images?

Please get them to contact me directly. I'm more than happy to provide low resolution images for them to use on their website and/or social media provided that they credit me as the photographer.

Are the images watermarked?

No. I don't place any watermarks on your final images.

Are my images backed up by you?

Yes. Every wedding I photograph is backed up in three places. Once I've given your images on a USB, I recommend that you back them up at a second location. I will keep your images backed up for a minimum of 12 months. I can't guarantee storing them for longer.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book you?

Yes. I require a £200 booking fee and that will secure your wedding date in my diary. I will not take on any other work on your wedding day.

Is there a contract to sign?

Yes, as soon as you've paid your booking fee, I'll email you a contract to sign digitally (computer, phone, tablet etc.). It's more of a peace of mind agreement that sets out what you can expect from me.

When do we need to pay the final balance?

The final balance is payable eight weeks prior to your wedding date. I will send you a reminder just before it's due.

When do we go on our engagement session?

Usually around 8-10 weeks before your wedding, but it can happen at any time.

Do you charge to travel to our wedding?

I am happy to photograph weddings within 100 mile radius of Glasgow at no extra charge. Any ferries, flights and accommodation that are required will be charged at cost and will be discussed with you prior to booking.

Is there a cut off time when you leave our wedding?

I never clock watch. Provided that I've captured a good party on the dance floor and I'm happy with what I've got, I'll then call it a day. If your day is running over time, don't worry, I'll stay to capture a good few dances.

Do we need to feed you?

Pretty please. Most weddings I go without lunch and it can be a long day without food. Whilst you're sat having dinner, I'd really appreciate a hot meal. It doesn't have to be a full wedding meal, something from the bar menu will do. It'll refuel me to keep me going through the evening. If you've booked a second photographer to help me, they would appreciate a meal too.

Are we able to view a full wedding gallery?

Of course. I think it's important that you see a whole days wedding images so you know what I aim to capture throughout the day. There are links within my wedding brochure, just complete my wedding enquiry form and I'll happily send it to you.
